This project launched on the eve of the 2020 election based on data collected through exit polls of the country’s voters. Through data visualization, it was aimed at showing the disparity in voting patterns between the different races and ethnicities of people in different states. It also allows users to explore data by using various filters to focus on any sub-demographic.

Facebook hires thousands of managers over the years. In order to maintain consistency of culture across such a large company it is important that they be onboarded with materials that are robust and highly adaptable to the circumstances that they would face in their job. In this project, we were given the task of designing a simulator through which managers could have a conversation about topics such as employee’s careers, giving and seeking feedback, promotion goals and others.

Talentify is an Android e-learning platform that aims to deliver high-quality educational content to Indian college students.In this redesign, we developed information architecture, gamification systems to keep the students engaged, a variety of content types, and a robust visual system to support these different content types.

In the modern workplace where all manner of visual communication is employed, the visually impaired are left at a disadvantage. Drawxi is an audio-haptic enabled tool that enables two-way communication between sighted users and those with those visual impairments.
Empathy is often lost over our channels of online communication. So we thought it necessary that we should have a set of design guidelines to bring greater empathy in online communication environments in the modern workplace.
Team Indus is a private aerospace company sown and grown in my home country, India. This is a complete overhaul of their website into a rich visual experience combining storytelling and a crowdfunding campaign to gain additional support for the space mission. The process involved collaboration with the organization’s scientists, marketing and operation teams and the design and development team at Parallel Labs.
Discovering Processing and generative art has actually made learning math fun. Who knew? The best part about generative art is that you never know what is going to come out of the other end. I could spend an entire day (and have) just playing around with different values on a sine wave function and random number generators.
Doing my Bachelor’s in Animation Film Design has left me with copious drafting skills that I put to use when I find myself looking at anything interesting. I always carry a notebook and a pen wherever I go and I try to “capture” what I see, in a way that photography cannot.
One of these things is not like the other. I use an application named Eagle to build an extensive exemplar collection, which spans many different genres and I try to organize the aesthetics of the internet according to style and its context. This is a long-term engagement that I hope will ultimately lead to a better understanding of the evolution of the visual arts.
